A little rain couldn’t dampen the enthusiasm of hundreds of community members who came out to celebrate our Community Open House on September 29th. They explored the buildings around campus, noshed on some tasty treats from the Jewish Federation’s Kosher Catering Team, and joined in song with Kol Haneshama during the Welcome Ceremony.
With greetings and remarks from JFGH President and CEO, Zach Benjamin; JFGH Board Chair, Abby Smith; Alexander Grass Foundation president, Elizabeth Grass Weese; and Mary Sachs Charitable Trust trustee, Joel Burcat, attendees were treated to unique insights on the inspiration and future plans for the Campus.
The Open House was hosted by the Jewish Federation of Greater Harrisburg and co-hosted by the organizations on Campus, including Brenner Family Early Learning Center, JCC Senior Adult Club, Jewish Family Service, PJ Library, The Silver Academy, and the Symons Family Fitness Center.
